Artistic Motivation
30 steps to encourage and develop a strong artistic mindset.
Sometimes we find ourselves in a slump and feeling uncreative, it happens to everyone, I have been in this position too, and it’s fine to feel this way for a short while to have a rest but if it stretches out to weeks and months and becomes frustrating then we need to implement strategies to overcome the feeling of procrastination. Often the longer the slump goes for the more difficult it is to get going with our art again.
Art is not only about the technical side of drawing, choosing the right pencils, paper and subject but also about how we process our thoughts and feelings towards our art and why we can self-sabotage ourselves which can halt our progress and hide our true creative selves. Sometimes we need a bit of guidance, a little discipline and accountability to stay on track, if this is you then this 30-day challenge will help you to reset your artistic emotions and get you on your way.
Why do we loose motivation? If you have heard yourself say, “I am too busy to do any art today” and then find you say it more and more, you might need to delve a little deeper and find the reason you are too busy. Maybe you are and a few minutes of art might be just what you need to relax and replenish your soul.
Maybe it is fearful thoughts developing like “What if I can’t mix the right colours?” or “I don’t think I can draw this correctly” then this is when we need to reset our thoughts to be more positive and use a different strategy to move forward..
I have put together this 30-day challenge to help you find and keep artistic motivation, a step by step guide to adjust your mindset and improve your creative path with purpose so you can share your creativity with the world. Each day in the challenge has a video tip to move you in the right direction and to remain in a positive mindset.
Also included is a comprehensive workbook that you can print and work through along with the videos. Please join the exclusive Facebook group where you can meet other artists and share your progress, a place to stay accountable and continue to use to find support and enjoy friendship along the way.
We do need emotional support in our creative journey and it’s important to recognise this need and have a community to build friendships and maintain this support as we progress on our way.
I hope you will join me and find a new way to progress through your artistic journey.
P.S. : You'll also have a workbook to guide you day by day
Once you are enrolled you can join the community in an exclusive Facebook group
